How much dye do I need for my hair?

For shoulder-length hair or shorter - 1 tub
For longer than shoulder-length hair - 2 tubs
For waist-length hair - 3 tubs

Steps for dyeing your hair:

1. For pastel colors, start with your hair bleached white (level 10). This is best achieved at a salon by a professional hairdresser.
2. Wear gloves.
3. Generously apply the product to your hair in sections.
4. Leave product on hair for 60 minutes.
5. Rinse hair thoroughly with cold water while wearing gloves. Be aware that the hair dye might stain your bathroom, clothes and towels.
6. Apply conditioner for colored hair.
7. To make your new color last longer, wash your hair with shampoo formulated for colored hair.

How long will the color last?

Depending on the specific shade, how often the hair is washed and whether color-protective shampoo is used, the color might stay anywhere from 1 week to 4-6 weeks. Light pastel shades wash out faster, blue and green colors stay much longer in the hair.
